FAQ
Common questions before a demo.
Answers about features, requirements, integrations and setup.
Which features are included in StaySend?
Current features include shared website and WhatsApp messaging, a guest overview with stays and offers, a customisable website chat, hotel and regional knowledge with AI assistance, and verified availability and offer workflows. Custom guest domains and the optional Campaign Center are configured or activated separately.
Does AI automatically answer every question?
No. Your hotel decides which approved knowledge may be used automatically. AI drafts responses on that factual basis. Your team takes over when information is missing, topics are sensitive or enquiries are unclear. New knowledge suggestions are only approved after human review.
Can the website chat create real offers?
Yes, after separate activation and setup: the guest must want an offer and provide complete dates and occupancy. StaySend checks inventory, capacity, stay rules and stored prices. Your team takes over if data is missing. The offer keeps a stored price snapshot and can be provided by email and link.
What can I see about a guest in the messenger?
Alongside the conversation, you can open reliably linked contact details, recorded stays, overnight stays and existing offers. Uncertain matches are not merged automatically. The guest overview remains in the signed-in staff area.
Are WhatsApp and campaigns immediately active for every hotel?
Channels and modules are configured and enabled for each business. WhatsApp takes service windows, templates and the required consent into account. Email and WhatsApp marketing use separate consent. The optional Campaign Center requires additional setup and approval steps.
Which hotels is StaySend suited to?
Hotels, holiday businesses, aparthotels and hosts receiving regular enquiries who want to send offers faster and follow up more consistently.
Does StaySend replace my PMS?
No. StaySend complements your PMS, website and email systems with messaging, website chat, hotel knowledge, offers and automated guest communication.
Can existing email templates be used?
Yes. Existing text and designs can be recreated as StaySend templates and extended with variables, text blocks and images.
How is privacy handled?
StaySend is prepared for controlled guest communication, roles, purpose limitation, opt-in/opt-out, unsubscribe links and token-protected offer links. The specific operator, hosting and data processing agreement details must be reviewed before going live.
Can I control follow-ups?
Yes. Follow-ups can be scheduled, reviewed, triggered manually or sent automatically according to the hotel’s process.
Is there a demo?
Yes. You can request a personal product demo through the demo form. We will discuss your hotel type, enquiry volume, PMS and initial workflows.
Does StaySend support multiple languages?
Yes. The interface is available in German, Italian and English. Guest-message and template languages are managed separately and do not change when you switch the interface language.
How quickly can we get started?
That depends on the PMS, SMTP, templates and pricing logic. An initial manual offer workflow usually needs only a few setup steps; automations are then tested carefully.
Which systems can be connected?
ASA Hotel is connected in production through explicit OTA/SOAP routes and authenticated booking import. Website enquiries use dedicated API keys. Other PMS, CRM or channel manager integrations receive a separately planned and tested adapter.
How does unsubscribing work?
Marketing emails should account for unsubscribe links and opt-out processes. Transactional and offer communication are considered separately during setup.
What happens to existing templates?
Existing templates can be used as a starting point, cleaned up and extended with StaySend variables, text blocks and hotel images.
Is StaySend suitable for small hotels?
Yes, if you regularly receive enquiries or have recurring guest communication. The demo assesses whether the setup effort is proportionate to the benefit.
