Reviewing messages
- Open the outbox and filter by recipient, type or status.
- Read the message preview and check the recipient and offer reference.
- If an error occurs, establish the cause before resending or rendering the message again.
- Check the sending history for the actual transport status reported.
Reading the status
- Pending: awaiting processing or the scheduled sending time.
- Sending: processing is in progress.
- Sent: the sending service or mail server accepted the message; this does not yet prove inbox receipt.
- Failed: sending could not be completed.
- Hard bounce: permanent non-delivery, such as a nonexistent address.
- Soft bounce: a temporary delivery problem.
- Skipped: a sending rule or block prevents the message.
Approvals and test sends
Email sending may be operationally blocked even when templates and offers can be prepared. Sending quotas and priorities may delay processing. Test sends actually go to the selected internal destination; they are not just an on-screen preview.
