Handling a conversation
- Select a guest from the list in Messages. Use search, channel filters and the Open, Unread, Closed or All selection.
- Read the previous messages and open Guest and travel details if needed.
- Choose an available reply channel deliberately. Website, WhatsApp and enabled Facebook/Instagram pilot channels depend on the conversation, setup and a valid reply window.
- Write your reply and review it before sending. Use an approved WhatsApp template if required.
- Check the delivery status in the conversation history. Close a resolved conversation in the travel details.
Working on a smartphone
On smaller screens, a conversation opens on its own. The arrow at the top left returns to the list without closing the conversation. The input stays below the separately scrolling history. “Go to latest message” takes you back to the end.
Drafts and handovers
Within the open Messages area, unsent drafts stay associated with their conversation, including when you switch conversations or interface languages. If sending fails, the draft is retained.
Filters and empty website sessions
Channel and status filters change the conversation list. Filtering alone does not mark messages as read, close conversations or delete them. Opening a conversation can update its read state.
A website visit without a saved message does not appear as an inbox conversation. Once a message has been saved, the conversation can be displayed.
